I absolutely love this wedding. With a love for a perfect day- a summer day perfectly captured by Shannon Moore . The wedding took place in the beautiful Central Coast in the small town of Nipomo, CA with the reception in Santa Maria CA.
Janelle and Brian’s wedding was all about the details. It all started when Janelle along with their event planner Joann came to me one winter evening with a great vision for a beach style wedding. Janelle was so cute and worried about it all, making sure all the details, details were not overlooked and all of her 300 guests would enjoy the celebration.
I had so much fun with this couple designing and executing all the small details. The contrast of the cool blue with soft white and natural elements gave this wedding a breezy exciting edge. As guest arrived they were welcome with drinks and music and left to enjoy the calming ambiance with two different complimentary tabletop designs, an amazing cake, ceiling draping and blue ambiance lighting.

Succulents are in and in a big way. Mother earth is going to love you too! There so many varieties available so select a few and start growing them in large pots and in a few months you’ll be ready to create your own centerpieces for that eco-friendly wedding you’re planning.
It’s a good idea to start collecting a cohesive selection of vases or containers you’ll be using, visit the local thrift or discount stores for affordable containers that fit the look of your wedding, I know it’s a slow process but in time you’ll have a great collection to get you started. Please I do not want you to stress so plan to have your centerpieces ready at least one 10 days before your wedding, you should not have to water them at all.
Before you start make sure you purchase floral foam for fresh flowers, moss, river rock, and branches for accent. Now soak the floral foam in water, let the block of foam float on the water until it gets saturated on it own. DON’T PUSH IT DOWN! Later, trim to fit in your vase tightly, cut apart the succulents and carefully insert them into the floral foam about 1.5″deep, make sure you add succulents with some height and texture, add the branches and moss for a more natural look. Done! Really it’s that easy.
If you like your table centerpiece to look more interesting simply add 3 small pots/vases with single clipping and adorn them with moss. Scattered river rock around the different vases and now it will appear larger. Here are a few ideas to get you started.

Selecting the perfect Bridal bouquet can be an overwhelming task. I’ll make it simple for you… In fact there are only 2 styles that seem to be the most popular recently…The hand tied round bouquet and the cascade bouquet which is shaped like a waterfall, that’s it!
To choose the right bouquet style, consider two things: Your wedding gown & the look that you want to create for yourself. Once you have chosen the style, we begin to select your favorite flowers, do not be alarmed! I will help you make the right selection and together we will choose the perfect flowers for the look you’re after. It’s most important to take the time to explore all aspects of your selection, I’ll show fresh cut flowers in an attempt to help you visualize the different color combination when pairing several blooms, perhaps adding some greenery is what you prefer, or without any greenery to better showcase the beauty of the blooms. Maybe you would like to include “bling” and give your bouquet a high style look.
Although you might think this is an overwhelming task to accomplish, keep in mind that together we will make the perfect selection. Imagine yourself walking down the aisle with the most beautiful bouquet designed and created only for you.
